Gift for an expectant father?
I need a gift for the security guy in the small building I work in. He’s going to be a new father next month. Something nice but not too expensive plese. Any ideas?
He actually doesn’t drink.
And he’s actually married! LOL
A gift certificate to some place like K-mart or Walmart. he can buy what ever baby product he does not have yet, or buy something for the wife, it gives him the choice.
There are cute t-shirts and items everywhere that say, New Dad, or if you know it is a boy, matching big guy, little guy shirts are cute.
Put together a new dad kit: a couple cigars, some of those suckers that say new dad for him to hand out, some ear plugs (or a couple cotton balls labeled ear plugs), a pacifier, a beer(one of those big cans you can get at the grocery would do), some chips, some room deoderizer, a travel pack size of Tylenol, you get the picture. Just make sure he has a sense of humor! You could put a real gift in with the jokes, if you want.
Try your local party supply store, they might have something to buy or copy. Wrap the dad kit up in a box, use a baby blanket as the wrapping paper, or buy an inexpensive baby tote and attatch a note that says it’s Dad’s .
Some gift certificates for pizza or fast food for when the baby comes.
Hope this helps.
Oops, I just read he doesn’t drink, substitute some soda.
